Since I posted.  What have I been doing?  Been catching up on my reading.  Reading John Harrington’s Business for Photographers book, which is making me realize how far I have to go before setting shop.  Been reading Steven Pressman’s War of Art, which is nothing but inspirational, I’m finding myself saying, “I do that!” on almost every page and example that he writes about.  If you feel that you’re not achieving what you truly want to do and be with your life, in any aspect…you must read this book.

Been looking at other photo labs too, shipped off some rolls to North Coast Photographic Services, as they come highly regarded and are not as expensive as RPL.  Also found a local lab in Dallas, going to put together some rolls to send to them as well.  I know that sounds funny that I’m sending film in the mail to a lab that I could easily drive to…but their hours conflict with my day job, they open when I start work and they close a couple of hours before I get off.  And I’m still looking into what it will take to setup a film workflow (that is develop + scan) at home.

Oh yeah, and I’ve been shooting…not enough, I think I could shoot 5-6 rolls a day, and I still couldn’t shoot enough.
